A data scientist is someone who uses the scientific method, algorithms, etc. with several different forms of data, in order to gain information. So, understandably, there is a lot that a data scientist need to know about statistic and visualizing data. Modern data scientists don’t simply read the data themselves, though. Today, they are tasked with also designing the artificial intelligence responsible for processing this data. But it isn’t always as simple as, see data, design AI. There is a fair bit more politics to it. So what exactly is it like designing AI for processing millions of records?
